Physical Education minors
This minor is designed to meet proposed national standards preparation in coaching elementary through high-school levels. Primary goals are to teach coaching fundamentals, injury prevention, health awareness, motor skill development, adolescent behavior and youth leadership skills.
This minor involves four required courses and two electives, all completed with a grade of “C” or better.
This concentration or minor is designed to add depth and breadth to a student’s education in health and wellness, develop healthy lifelong patterns and increase their career marketability.
A health minor involves four required courses and three electives, all completed with a grade of “C” or better.
