The Norwich University Athletic Training Room is our primary clinical site. The four full time Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs) and one intern ATC provide athletic training services to 2o men’s and women’s athletics teams.

Norwich University Strength and Conditioning
Norwich University Strength and Conditioning works with Norwich’s 20 men’s and women’s athletic teams through out the year to improve athletes overall strength and endurance. Athletic Training students are able to learn proper weight lifting techniques and evaluation of athletes function through this rotation.

Harwood Union Middle/High School
Located in Moretown Vermont, Harwood Union services students from 7th through 12th grade. 28 girls and boys sports are offered at the varsity, junior varsity, and middle school levels.

Located right outside Montpelier Vermont, U-32 services 850 students from 7th through 12th grade. 30 girls and boys sports are offered at the varsity, junior varsity, and middle school levels.

Devin Wendel, ATC
Devin has been working with Norwich Athletic Training students since 2011 when he was an Athletic Trainer/Athletic Director at Montpelier High School. During the 2012-13 school year, Devin worked as an ATC at Mt.Abraham Union High School and Long Trail on the Fall Physical Therapy before starting at U-32 in 2013 as the Athletic Trainer/Assistant Athletic Director.

Green Mountain Family Practice and Norwich University Infirmary
Located in Northfield Vermont, in close proximity to the Norwich Campus, Green Mountain Family Practice works in conjunction with Norwich to provide health care to Norwich University students. Athletic Training Students work with the doctors, physician assistants, nurses and medical assistants as part of their general medical rotation.

Located in Websterville Vermont and servicing eight towns and 292 square miles, the Town of Barre Emergency Medical Services is a site for Athletic Training students to work the Emergency Medical Technicians and Paramedics as part of their general medical rotation.
